The Arches

The Arches is a mixed-use urban building that layers a warm, historic ground floor into a crisp, contemporary structure above. A brick arcade of arched storefronts — anchored by Cafe de la Plaza and Arches Bookstore — brings the building down to human scale, with striped awnings and sidewalk seating animating the street edge. Above, a minimalist white grid of floor-to-ceiling glazed floors houses light-filled workspaces, capped by a rooftop pergola draped in cascading greenery that softens the building's crown and signals its commitment to biophilic design.
